“The Night the Plowshares Entered the Rabbit Run”

This story was crafted as a part of my Fall 2019 Ithaca College course in narrative journalism. It later received the 2019-2020 Park School Student Writing Award. In October 2019, I covered the trial of seven radical Catholic peace activists on charges related to their break-in at the United States Naval Facility Kings Bay where several nuclear submarines are based. My reporting in Georgia was made possible by the Park Center for Independent Media which covered expenses, but did not contribute editorially to this story.
