Mitrano, Reed share sentiments on NAFTA negotiations

United State Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland have been in nearly continuous negotiations since the White House announced a preliminary bilateral trade deal with Mexico to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement last Monday. Both Republican southern tier Rep. Tom Reed and his Democratic challenger, Tracy Mitrano, chimed in on the ongoing negotiations with Canada and what they could mean for the region’s agricultural sector.
